June News

Our Sixth Class celebrated the end of their Primary School Journey with a Graduation Ceremony held in the school Halla. We wish these young people the very best as they embark on their next adventure.

Goodbye and Thank you.

We had to bid farewell to Ms. Keane and Ms. Wall and we thank them for everything they did over the past two years in our school. We will miss them and we wish them well in their future endeavors

Summer Harvest

Our Polytunnel was bursting with lots of fresh produce this month. From Strawberries to onions and potatoes there was lots of tasty food for us to enjoy. We all loved the new potatoes which were grown by fifth class and then cooked for us all to enjoy.

Fire Brigade Visit

We all enjoyed a visit from the Foynes Fire Brigade who told us all about their training and the great work that they do.

Children from Third- Sixth class came together and sang and played on their ukuleles. Thanks to James Anglim for doing music lessons with the children throughout the year.

Thanks also and well done to Thomas in Fifth Class who performed for us all, playing many tunes on the Accordion. We were all thrilled to hear him play.

Digital Presentations.

Classes throughout the school worked on various digital projects and presented their work to other classes during the month of June. Pictured are Third and Fourth Class making and presenting their Powerpoints based on the themes of Farm Safety and Water Safety.

Teddy Bear’s Picnic

Junior and Senior infants took advantage of one of the warm and sunny days in June and celebrated by having a teddy bear’s picnic.

STEM in First and Second Class

First and Second Class loved putting the schools new Lego STEM kits to good use.

Well done

Well done to all of our students on completing a great year in school.
