Final Term in Fifth Class.

What a busy term it has been for all the boys and girls in Fifth Class.

The children had a fantastic day out in UL show casing their investigation, can red cabbage be used as an indicator to show if a liquid is an acid or a base? Along with this they saw many science exhibitions and shows on all aspects of science.

The children had a lego robotics workshop recently from Rob, who works with the Creative Hut. They learned how to input a code to operate their robot. The staff also received training on how to use the kits. The whole school look forward to using these kits in the future. The Board of Management recently purchased lego robotics kits for the school with funds from the STEM grant.

Fifth Class are pictured here enjoying their Water Safety Talk given by local lifeguards recently.
